Cease with the foolishness

When presented with a new year, we find ourselves planning without considering the actions we’ve taken before.

Very quickly we revert to the former things, without even realising it. We use the same mentality to approach our planning and before long we have returned to the familiar and comfortable things. Time goes by and we wonder, how did we get here?

I decree over us today, that that will not be our portion in this new month and new year in Jesus name.

What you must realise for yourself this year is that:

Who you are is so much more than what you do. Do not allow what you do to hinder who you are.

It is time we consider the things we do, which are foolishness yet we entangle ourselves easily and blindly in continually. This post is for me as much as it is for you.

Why is it so difficult for us to move from, let go of and give up that which Holy Spirit instructs and reveals? Is it because of fear, rejection, a lack of resources, being excluded, misinformation, personal comfort, misinterpretation, a worldly mindset and/or a disjointed perception of our identity, Our Saviour and His Word?

We speak about the fruit of the Holy Spirit but do we truly understand it as revealed by God’s Spirit, who is the revealer of all truth.

“But when He, the Spirit of Truth (the Truth-giving Spirit) comes, He will guide you into all the Truth (the whole, full Tru

th). For He will not speak His own message [on His own authority]; but He will tell whatever He hears [from the Father; He will give the message that has been given to Him], and He will announce and declare to you the things that are to come [that will happen in the future].” - John 16:13 (AMPC)

Christians, sister, brother, it is time you wake up and ask God to assess your works and your walk. If there was no need for this, the bible would not say in Hebrews 12 verses 5 to 7 (AMPC):

“And have you [completely] forgotten the divine word of appeal and encouragement in which you are reasoned with and addressed as sons? My son, do not think lightly or scorn to submit to the correction and discipline of the Lord, nor lose courage and give up and faint when you are reproved or corrected by Him; For the Lord corrects and disciplines everyone whom He loves, and He punishes, even scourges, every son whom He accepts and welcomes to His heart and cherishes. You must submit to and endure [correction] for discipline; God is dealing with you as with so

ns. For what son is there whom his father does not [thus] train and correct and discipline?”

Correction is an expression of love. So, as you read this post, remember I am loving you right now lol.

On a serious note, it is time for you to stop assessing your answered prayers based on materialistic provision. Or deceive yourself by thinking relationship is asking God for what you need and getting it.

It is time to kill religious routine and knowledge.

How do you assess the heart, when you do not know what is hidden within the heart. The contents can only be revealed by God through His Holy Spirit. Yet most of us silence His voice and do not heed to His words, direction and instructions.

When will we wake up and see Jesus? He lived, moved and related from whom He is and not what He did. The Son of God came to do the Father’s will.

I leave you with this:

Your timidity will never be the death of you or your destiny in Jesus name. Death is far greater than a person ceasing to breathe. Death is the state of being dead, lifeless, not endowed with life. It is written in the book of John,

“Jesus said to her, I am [Myself] the Resurrection and the Life. Whoever believes in (adheres to, trusts in, and relies on) Me, although he may die, yet he shall live; And whoever continues to live and believes in (has faith in, cleaves to, and relies on) Me shall never [actually] die at all. Do you believe this?” - John‬ ‭11:25-26‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Only Jesus raises from the dead and only in Jesus does life continue. Do not be deceived or distracted. Answer the questions with Holy Spirit and allow Him to reveal where you are now and where God wants to take you in Jesus name, amen.

Ask the Lord for more of His Holy Spirit and you will surely live.

I pray you hear what is being said to each of us and recalibrate before it’s too late, again!

God bless you.
